A deliberate attempt to avoid close-ups of leaves (you masters have shown me how it is done!). This one is a little staged but I like the leaves in the air, the fact that Imogen is looking straight at the camera and the way it looks like they are all having fun.
D50, 70-300@100mm, f4, 1/125s, ISO1600. Ghulevelt Park, Worcester.

Great stuff and sneakily being all original and not doing close up, shallow DOF leaves and trees! As you say, nice look from Imo, and good capture of the action.
Get the feeling a crop might help really make this - seems a bit centred at the mo and a lot of dead space to the left?
Just noticed the high ISO on this one - impressive performance! Did you do anything to this is post, or was it this noise free out the cam?
Nope. A bit of sharpening was about the sum total of it. Put it down to the D50 - and possibly the Sigma zoom. Will have to see how the D90 compares - it should be better.
Don't be alarmed if it seems worse when you first start pixel peeping! D300 initially seemed noisier, but then I realised it was twice the res and was therefore resolving much more detail (and noise) than the D70, plus 100% zoom of a bigger sensor is actually showing closer detail than 100% of D70.
