Nice. And look at all that resolution and detail in the leaves!
Nice DOF use as well.
I know: I am still getting used to the extra detail in the D90.
You're right about the batteries though! Those extra pixels, big displays, VR lenses, etc, need power. Like you, I could go for ages without recharging the D50; The D90 has already lost a good chunk of its charge.
It will take you a while to get adjusted and probably be caught out a few times - I certainly have!
