Challenge 10 - Much Less Scary

Here's another one. This time I am a bit more presentable. Taken with off-camera flash behind the sewing machine so that I was illuminated. Manual focus attempt to get my face sharp - not the machine - has only been partially successful. F7.1, 52mm.

Challenge 10 - NSFW

This was an attempt to get away from any vanity associated with this challenge! Me looking at my very worst after 30 minutes on an exercise bike. Do not pixel-peep - you may well be scarred for life.

Off-camera flash pointing straight into the face from below, camera directly ahead. F3.5, 18mm.

Challenge 10 - for me, obvious really...

f8, 1/60s, ISO400, 16-85@56mm, off-camera flash. Chiltern Brewery Bitter, 4.8 per cent ABV.

Challenge 10 - Self Portrait

On reflection, this challenge could turn out to be aesthetically very upsetting. ;)

f8, 1.6s, ISO 400, 16-85@85mm (through 50mm)

Focus issues caused by shooting through the second lens which I didn't have time to nail down.

Challenge 10: Self Portrait

This came to me whilst shaving this morning and trying to think of a challenge.

Take a self-portrait. No excuse: we all have the subject matter and a camera!  But it could be quite tough.... if not a little narcissistic.

Usual rules: up to 5 photos, as much Photoshop as you like, deadline end of November. The only additional rule is that, obviously, the photograph must be taken by yourself. So get that tripod and remote release out!
