Yes, I realise there are blown higlights in the flames - should have use a faster shutter speed. But I still like it: it has atmosphere.

Not my fav. A little over-posed. I've no problem with the fire being blown, the rest is nicely exposed.
But oddly enough, probably the least posed of the lot. She was reading her book anyway. I just said "try to keep still when not turning the pages" and snapped away!
Doesn't quite work for me. The shoes and legs shot worked much better because it told you a lot about the subject even though you didn't see their face - which I think is one of the main aims of a "portrait". This time, I don't really get anything.
